Chattering, yelling, swearing, jumping people my age milling about.
Me, sitting awkwardly with my trumpet, glaring at the inappropriate culprits. They just don’t pick up on the teacher’s distress.
Hey, I still can have fun, but when there are five teachers staring incredulously at us, I know when to shut up. Some people just don’t get the point! I think my class loves to state opinions and be loud and create a happy laid-back ruckus in the classroom- me? I value being alone in silence, watching them amused as the adults try to get the oblivious kids to be quiet.
They say we’re loud. I’m not loud, but who’s talking.
I actually think its quite funny how oblivious adults are to kids and kids are to adults sometimes-
and I am quite happy just to observe the drama as it unfolds.
