Sorry, this is going to be a short one, and I could say so much more on the subject of positivity- I wrote poetic awesomeness this during my break at school in my notepad about:
If you focus on the good things, you’ll find that you thrive in a somewhat positive community that thrives around trying to be happy.
I live in this community of fairly pleasant people (when they aren’t being irritating!) that mean well…
I probably wouldn’t be here if it weren’t for the good moments, no matter how small. For if you focus on something happy, even if you can’t laugh, or you can’t try, you feel fractionally better!
The good moments happen when you don’t care what other people think. The greatest moments are when you’re singing in the halls and walking linked arm-in-arm with not a care in the world.
Life’s good- if you watch it from behind rose colored glasses. Making someone laugh or smile, and really making the effort to be loving and caring can make someone’s day.
I am not saying avoid your troubles or turning to unhealthy ways in order to find this feeling- I’m saying, fight your battles and look for that light on the end of the tunnel. Hug someone. Get to know another person.
Tell someone that you really appreciate them. Get ice cream on a sunny Friday afternoon.
The point of my rant?
Brighten someone’s day- it could be life-saving.
Have a sunny day!
